At FlyAway, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Last updated: March 2026We collect the following types of data to provide and improve our services:
We use your data for the following purposes:
Legal Basis: We process your data based on your consent, contractual necessity, and our legitimate interests in improving our services
We share your data with the following third parties to operate our services:
FlyAway uses artificial intelligence features powered by several inference providers. When you use an AI feature, the relevant data is transmitted from our servers (api.flyawaygolf.com) to one of them to generate a response. Which provider handles a given request depends on the feature and on the model best suited to it, and the list changes as models do.
The providers below are those we call today. Each processes the data solely to return a response, under its own data processing terms. Requests handled by a provider established outside the European Union are transfers, and rely on the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.
| Provider | Company | Processed in | Privacy terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gemini | Google LLC | United States | Privacy terms |
| OpenAI | OpenAI, L.L.C. | United States | Privacy terms |
| Claude | Anthropic PBC | United States | Privacy terms |
| Groq | Groq, Inc. | United States | Privacy terms |
| Mistral | Mistral AI | European Union | Privacy terms |

Data sent to an inference provider is used exclusively to generate real-time AI responses for the features listed above. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
Consent and Opt-Out: By using an AI feature in FlyAway, you consent to the transmission of the relevant data to whichever of the providers above handles that feature. AI features are entirely optional — if you would rather your data was not processed by them, simply do not use them; the rest of the app works without.
Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the following rights:
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days, except for transaction records kept for legal purposes (up to 7 years) and anonymized statistics.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
FlyAway is intended for users aged 15 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 15. If you believe a child under 15 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Cookies and similar storage fall into two groups on this site. The essential ones keep you signed in, remember your language and theme, and record your cookie choice itself — they are exempt from consent because the site cannot work without them. The measurement ones are only placed after you accept, and refusing loads nothing at all.
We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of features and online activity. This information is also used for site optimization and security purposes.
For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement
Operated by Google LLC. It measures how many people visit, which pages they read and where they arrive from. Data is processed in the United States under the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. It is only loaded once you accept.
On your first visit a small notice offers two options of equal weight: accept or refuse. Refusing does not load Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity at all — no script, no cookie. Your answer is kept for six months, and the 'Cookie choice' link at the bottom of every page reopens it at any time.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of FlyAway after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
